The Greek Theatre in Taormina, with Mount Etna in the background, is one of the most photographed sights in Italy — and it’s even more extraordinary in person. But the Ionian Coast is much more than just Taormina: Isola Bella with its nature reserve, the beaches of Letojanni, Giardini Naxos with its picture-perfect bay, and Castelmola perched on the cliff.
